The dust is collected on the outside of the filter bags. At regular
intervals, a burst of metered compressed air is injected through the
PULSE collector parabolic velocity stacks to dislodge the agglomerated
dust which falls into the hopper. Maximum filtering efficiency is
attained by using top quality needled felt media of appropriate weight
and construction. a full range of natural and synthetic felts are
available to suit specific requirements; fibreglass, polyester, nylon,
Nomex, etc. All bags are accessed from the top of baghouse collectors,
eliminating the need for dirty side entry to change and service bags.

The dust ladden air enters the collector through the side that
incorporates a vertical deflector plate. Once inside the dust
accumulates on the surface of the bag filter creating a surface cake.
Reverse blasts of air are introduced at specific intervals, cleaning
the bag surface and sending the debris towards the hopper. This unit
utilizes venturis to accelerate the blast into the bag creating a more
efficient cleaning.

Top access baghouse collectors operate at high temperatures (special
bags required), have a large loading capacity, can easily pulse clean
sticky and stringy materials, resist chemical products and humidity and
the baghouse collectors also possess a stable pressure differential.

Steel internal cage supports are used to keep the bag form. Quick clamp
snap bands hold the bags in place. Bags and cages are accessed from
below the tube sheet within the dirty side of baghouse collectors. The
raised venturi design prevents dust from being blown back into
adjoining bags in case of bag failure.
