Many of Dyco Electronics' custom magnetics and transformer products are
used for military and commercial capabilities such as critical military
applications, and with companies from several areas of the railroad
industry.

Welcome to Dyco Electronics, a 53-year-old custom magnetics house grown
on the simple principle of serving our customers' needs. We own and
occupy a 25,000-sq. ft. manufacturing facility that was built in 1979.
We are a 3 million-dollar a year company with 65 employees. However, we
currently only utilize 1/3 of our single shift manufacturing capacity.
We are poised for substantial growth!

Dyco’s greatest asset, however, is our desire and willingness to work
with our customers to satisfy their custom magnetics needs. We like
to be involved in the prototype stages and offer design or
manufacturing feedback. We are committed to quick turn around on
custome magnetics prototypes, often in just a few days. We value the
manufacturing input of our customers and are always open to comments
and suggestions.

End products that use our custom magnetics include military aircraft,
military base to base communications equipment, shipboard threat
detection devices, shipboard communications equipment, commercial
aircraft, industrial machinery, electronic test equipment, medical
emergency electronics, locomotives, audio equipment..... the list goes
on and on.

Electrostatic shielding is a method of inductor construction that
prevents unwanted electrical waves from entering into a custom
magnetics device. Typically the shield is made of a nickel plated brass
alloy, or other specialty metal, placed over the inductor and
electrically connected to ground. Most effective when used in
conjunction with a magnetic shield, it is sometimes referred to as a
"tin can".
