The Airex Industries Model CI Dust Collector is ideally suited for schools or small industrial applications where large volume or air are required for relatively small amounts of dust collected. This unit is primarily designed for limited ceiling height installations.
The material storage area and the secondary filtration section are accessible through large access doors which allow for easy material removal and filter maintenance of the unit. The Model CI dust collector is part of the CE series of dust collectors and designed by Airex Industries in which standardized construction methods and parts are used to create a highly efficient unit and still maintain a low cost. This dust collector requires a minimum of maintenance. All parts which must be maintained are easily accessible.
The SCS is a dust collector with a mechanical "shaker". This dust collector is made solidly and of industrial quality. The SCS dust collector can be equipped with a centrifugal fan, with a motor ranging from 3 to 15 H.P. The polyester needle felt filter allows for highly efficient filtration. The fabric is specially treated to facilitate the removal of dust. The SCS dust collector is an inexpensive solution that has a multitude of applications.
Dust collector Model CI is supplied ready to operate, requiring only connection to a power source through a starter and into the unit. The unit is ruggedly constructed and has a very convenient material storage and removal all packaged into a single completely self-contained unit.
The diversity of its applications make it the dust collector best suited for industrial installations operating in material handling, rock, wood and metallurgical products and many others.
Continuous systems require more than one VIBROTUBE dust collector. Periodically, one unit is isolated by individual automatic dampers for reconditioning while remaining units clean the exhaust gas stream. A field adjustable programmer progressively activates damper valve in each dust collector. As the damper(s) close(s), air is diverted to the remaining units. After a brief null period, the shaker mechanism is energized to recondition the fabric. After a pre-set interval, the damper valve(s) then reopen(s) and the next unit is reconditioned. After the cleaning cycle is completed, all the VIBROTUBES are "on line". The programmer may be adjusted as required to suit individual applications. A pre-wired electrical control panel is available with each continuous duty VIBROTUBE. It can include shaker motor starter, control voltage step-down transformer, control timer and an on-off selector switch mounted in a dust-tight enclosure.
