DIAGNOSIS OF COMMON OCCURRENCES WITH THE ES-125 HANDICAP LIFT:
The ES-125 handicap lift goes up but does not come down: Firstly, begin by verifying the underpan sensor. Pull down on it to ensure that the pan is not stuck in the activated position. Then try testing the flap on the lower part of the handicap lift. Move it to ensure the switch (if equipped) is not stuck in the activated position.
The ES-125 handicap lift goes down but does not go up : - Verify the flap on the upper part of the handicap lift. Try moving it to ensure the switch (if equipped) is not stuck in the activated position.
If the ES-125 handicap lift does not move, begin by checking the power supply (breaker, cord, etc.). Then, Verify if the key is on. You can also verify whether the emergency stop is pushed in. It should be pulled out. If the handicap lift platform is at the top landing, verify the underpan sensor and the flap on the lower part of the handicap lift as explained above. - If the platform is at the bottom landing, verify the flap on the upper part of the lift as explained above. - Verify if the arms are not in an intermediate position. It should be in an horizontal or vertical position.
The platform does not fold or unfold (powerfold option only): - Verify that the ES-125 is stopped at one of the landings. - Verify that the seat is folded up. The platform moves intermittently: - Verify if the bus lines (if equipped), located on the rail, are dirty. If necessary, clean it with a no #400 sandpaper.
